What happens after the booking process?
After your initial consultation, booking and deposit I’ll provide you with a detailed form explaining how to prepare for your session. I’ll guide and work with you on outfit ideas, theme colors, and even hair/nail/makeup tips (we do not provide makeup artists). I’ll work with your style, unique personality and comfort level, bringing out the best “you”. It’s your moment to shine!
I’ve never modeled before, can you help with posing?
Absolutely! A photo session can sometimes be awkward and intimidating if you’re not comfortable in front of a camera. What I enjoy most is making my clients feel at ease and stress free. You show up camera ready and I’ll do all the directing and posing.
Will my photos be retouched?
Editing your images is a part of our service. Feel free to discuss your retouching/editing questions during your consultation. And please advise us during your consultation if you do or do not want editing to blemishes, tattoo’s, scars, etc.
May I bring props?
I completely encourage props for all of my sessions. I do provide some props, however bring mementos, and anything you’d like to add or enhance your photographic experience. Feel free to incorporate those props into your session. I also suggest a hair brush/comb, and any touch up makeup you may need. Make it all about you!
Where will the session take place?
There is no work on your part. Sessions are shot at an outdoor location (unless otherwise specified for a studio session), private changing room is provided for outdoor sessions. You decide on the vision and vibe that you want, I’ll location scout and provide the perfect place or places to make your dreams a reality.
How long will my session be?
Session times will depend on the Portrait Collection you choose. Normally ranging between 1 1/2 hours to 3 hours.
What if there is inclement weather on the day of my session?
No worries, I’m there for you, and I continually watch the weather. 7 days prior to your session you’ll receive an update, as well as up to 3 days before your session. If inclement weather threatens, we will re-schedule or find an alternate location. Your non-refundable deposit will transfer to your rescheduled date.
How do payments work?
Once there is a decision on the Portrait Collection you’d like, I make payments simple and secure. I use secure payments through Zelle or CashApp. A one-time payment or easy payments options can be arranged. This can be discussed during the confirmed booking process. Final payments are due 10 days prior to your scheduled session.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can certainly cancel your session up to 48 hours prior, however your $75 booking retainer fee is non-refundable. This does not apply if you need to reschedule your session date.
